Your statistics: Ebooks and audiobooks
Our recent ebook push had one major flaw—something was up with the profile statistics page. That's been fixed, and the result is stunning. Instead of a few dozen ebooks, most users should see hundreds. My stats, for example, include fifteen LibriVox ebook editions, 45 Project Gutenberg editions and fully 99 Open Library editions—all free.

Ok, I have no idea what this does or means? Does this mean I can add eBooks to my library? If so how? I need some more deets... what did I miss?
I'm with Bob. How do I add these to my LT library, or is it just a way for me to see if a particular book is available at ebook sites?
Would love the ability to (easily) add ebooks to My Library.
With my big library, I get an enormous list of ebooks. It would be great to be able to restrict that list by collection, especially to get ebook sources for my *wishlist*.

I am also confused. It seems to list books I own for which someone is selling (or giving away) an e-book.
How do I make a list of e-books and audiobooks that I actually own?
Frossie, I'd recommend using a collection (or tags, but I strongly recommend collections) to do this.
I do have an ebook collection... but when I add books I am just selecting the paper edition that comes up in the Amazon search. The db doesn't really know these are ebooks. I don't know if they give ebooks separate ISBNs. Do they?

As far as I know, Amazon does not give its Kindle books an ISBN...it provides an ASIN (not sure what that is or how it is different...but it IS different).
Another thing, as I look at the list that Library Thing provides on my ebooks page, I find NO Amazon books. Is that a sign that the list is incomplete or is that an error?
I like the idea of creating a separate collection for my Kindle and Audible books. Thanks.

Thanks, but I don't think it is working. When I look at my ebooks stats now and select my ebook collection it is showing books that are not in that collection.

For example, it shows "So Long and Thanks for all the Fish" and that is not in my ebook collection, it is only in my pbook collection.
I'm with the others. I don't understand what this is.
As I understand it from http://www.librarything.com/topic/77151 , the ultimate idea is that the ebooks and audiobooks feature should show you ebooks and audiobooks that correspond to your "wishlist" collection. (When the feature first came up it wasn't keying off the wishlist collection as intended, but the powers that be are working on that).

We can't include Audible and Kindle books in the list because we're generating the info on the fly when we do show it. It would be a big problem trying to dredge that up for a library with 1000+ books.
Non-electronic Amazon editions won't show either because they aren't ebooks.

Yes, it seems to be working now. Although the collection drop down is showing collections that I have set as "inactive".
