Aw, she's lovely, Chris! Congratulations to you and Ashley. As much as I love LibraryThing, this is your best creation by far.

I'm new to the world but I already have a LibraryThing account: kateeholland. I'm a bit busy right now getting acclimated to this new life and keeping my parents up at night. But when I get some free time I'm going to catalog my books (and my collection is off to a pretty good start already).

She's already off to a great start - clever parents and a print rich environment, she'll be literate before you know it.

Three kilos is a good size baby. And she is adorable. (Thanks for thinking of us metric types.)

A beauty...thank you for sharing. Her index finger is already gesturing pensiveness of thought! God's blessing on you all.

Newborns always leave me with fond memories of Pavlovian lactation responses. This wee bairn is no exception. The most heartfelt of congratulations are in order!

However.

The third of my four "delightful" children was ALSO born on May 7th (2002). (Also a girl... God help you.)

(Beware! Beware!)

My darling Ellie (now 6) is the year of the horse. This is the year of the rat. Big difference.
