LibraryThing in Hindi

Check it out: http://hin.LibraryThing.com.

We need sources! We've looked around for open Z39.50 connections to Indian libraries. The only one we found, Indian Institute of Technology, is no longer working.

We did something new with regard to our Hindi translation—we paid for it! It wasn't happening fast enough on it's own, so we found a very capable individual on eLance. I don't think we'll make a practice of it, but it was an intereting test nevertheless.

its is the possesive (as his and hers) IT'S = it is
(I apologize for this, but couldn't help it! Old proofreaders never die) **And I've refrained from mentioning the typo, I know you are busy and in a rush!

I've thought for a while that we could do with some alternative classification fields (having already subverted Dewey to contain Coates BCM for printed music and being on the point of subverting either DDC or LC to hold UDC marks for my collection). If we start getting Indian libraries we will very likely need a space for Colon Classification ... and then I might feel tempted to have another go at adding those as well.

Voluntary translation always sucks.
Be professional and pay professionals.
