LibraryThing t-shirts

We've had t-shirts available on our CafePress store for a while now, but we decided it was time to do it ourselves. Our stock came in this morning, in several huge boxes on my snowy doorstep, and we'll be sending out the first shirts this afternoon (some people had pre-ordered).

We've got them in black and cardinal (a dark red-ish color), in unisex sizes S-XL.

You can order t-shirts here, they cost $20 each (plus S&H).

Lindsey and I immediately picked one each and ran them through the wash so we could report on shrinkage—for what it's worth, I'd say they shrink a little bit (they're "preshrunk cotton", but still), and that the medium is probably a little smaller then a typical men's medium.

Shipping for Christmas. If you want a shirt by December 24th, then you need to order it shipped priority mail by Wednesday the 19th at 3pm EST. It's probably too late for international shipping to make it in time (but hey, what says "Happy New Year" more than a t-shirt?)

LibraryThing memberships also make great gifts (or what about a CueCat stocking stuffer?).

Give a lifetime membership ($25)
Give an annual membership ($10)

That's it. Back to picking books for my SantaThing-ee...

Any chance for XXL/3XL sizes one day?

Wanting to order multiple sizes, after getting first size to the shopping cart the 'continue shopping' button didn't work. Pfui!

I'm holding off buying any more LT stuff until it adds the dot com at the end. Too much confusion at Library sales and other book places. If one is advertising, the message should be clear:-)

I was about to accuse you of not having long sleeve tee shirts, but I see white and ash are available at Cafe Press. I'd like black and red at the same price, and a pocket deep enough for a pen would be nice, too.

I have to agree with anonymous in that I'd REALLY like the t-shirt to show that LT is an internet site.

*frowns and starts to whine* Is there any way of getting bigger sizes? Or, could someone tell me just how big the XL is (like, measurements?).... I usually wear a 2 or 3XL.... But I really want one!!!

A similar rec for larger sizes, please. Long sleeved in red would be nice and warm for winter!

If the sizes are a little bit smaller, then an XL is unlikely to fit me.
Here's another member hoping for XXL at some point.

*The logo - I actually did order it with a .com on the end. And then the company messed up and excluded it. So once we sell through this stack of 300, I can reorder and finally get shirts with a .com on the end.

*The sizes, the styles - Next round we'll get some more larger sized shirts - it's hard to predict what's going to sell, but clearly the demand is there! I'd love to see long-sleeve shirts, but I want to see if the short-sleeved ones sell first. Starting with the basics, before my dining room turns into a gourmet LibraryThing schwag stock room.

*Cranberry - I have triumphed. All is right in the world.

There's definitely going to be a demand for larger sizes; your audience overlaps significantly with science-fiction fandom, where XL is "average".

Would you have any interest in wholesaling the shirts? I know at least 2 people who'd be very interested in carrying them.

They look nice, but I won't buy a T-shirt. A woman's tank top or "wife-beater" style shirt I'd go for.

My cardinal shirt has arrived in London, and nice it is too! Thanks very much.

You should totally link to the t-shirts on the membership page where you talk about ways to give money.
