"Your library" tab now remembers
I made a small change, but a basic one. It may cause some confusion, so I figured I'd do a quick blog post about it.
The "Your library" tab now "remembers" where you were in your library, rather than resetting things. This recreates the dead (and much-mourned) "back to catalog" button, found on work pages until they were redone. So, if you are on the fifth page of your catalog, go to an author and from there to a tag, a help page, the wiki, your email, a YouTube video of laughing babies and then back to LibraryThing and the "your library" tab, you'll find it where you left off.
Because it's basic, there may be some hiccups. Report problems on Talk, here.

Thank you for that. Little things mean a lot!
Kind of an irrelevant question, but is there an official LT position on the words "library" and "catalog?" They seemed to be used pretty interchangeably throughout the website, and I was just wondering if there was some logical structure I was missing. Basically, is there a difference between "my library" and "my catalog?" Thanks.
No, sorry. There isn't. I think the tab name itself changed from catalog to library—and stop us before we change it again!
Apologies. I'll try to think about that more when I write.

Sorry guys.. I find this feature incredibly annoying.
Could you make it something that can be turned on and off in our profile options, at least?
Besides the navigational differences in the way "Library" work now, I don't think the location or the title of the link "all books" lends itself to be easily found or its scope intuitively understood. Perhaps it might be better if you place it nearer to "Showing tag 'tagname'"?
Just some of my thoughts for what they are worth..
Hey, no problem. We'll look at making the all books link clearer.
I should also add that you guys rock.
I still feel as at home with library thing as when I first "took" to it!
You guys run an awesome service!
I'm currently contemplating retiring from reading and just getting into indexing my books on LibraryThing full time :)
lovely while it worked. Please fix it.
