Snapshots from the Week of Code
Last week was the "Week of Code." Abby, Casey and Chris came up to Portland, ME and we worked on LibraryThing together—planning, brainstorming, coding and "team building" (eating).* Here are some snapshots from that. (I wish I could arrange them to take up less space, but Blogger is frustrating me today.)
We also said goodbye to Altay, who will be seeking fame and fortune on the west coast. Altay was largely responsible for the code behind LibraryThing for Libraries—a beautiful piece of work. He will be sorely missed.

With the departure of Altay, we are a Mac-only outfit. Don't they look beautiful?
We have plans! Chris, Casey and Abby.
Casey, Liam and I, sitting at the LibraryThing Beach Party. I was the only one to swim. There are a number of extremely unflattering photos of me you will never see.

I would think he was cute even if he wasn't. But he is.

*We didn't take photos of the lobster dinner. It was Casey and Chris' first time.

Those are great photos! It's nice to see photos of you all, and see what went into the Week of Code... behind-the-scenes LT! And yes, Liam is very very cute. :)
I agree with Heather, it's great to see the team together - serves as a reminder that LT isn't just code and servers, there's real people in there slogging away!
Oh and Liam looks adorable inbetween Casey and Tim on the beach :p
best wishes to Altay, who deserves both fame and fortune! LTFL is indeed gorgeous!
'Mac only' explains why I felt LibraryThing was spiritually close... and yes, he is cute!!
Ooh!
Ahh!
But really, I'm straining to see what's on the bookshelves behind Casey
Behind Casey is the Latin shelf; on the other side of the Greek!
We're not only a tech startup, we're a rather good classics library! :)
and that's your Loeb collection on the top shelf in the group shot behind Chris, Casey and Abby?
Yeah, but just the history. The literature is mixed in alphabetically below.
