No really! One of my favorite bookstores* reminded me that today is "Drop Everything and Read Day". Sponsored by Ramona Quimby, of course, and celebrated on Beverly Cleary's birthday. So go to it!

Oh I wish i could. Working... maybe later?
"Maybe later" is my plan, since I don't think I'll have time to read until Tim heads to CIL and I'm on the plane to Australia on Monday...
I'm thrilled that Ramona is still going strong -- I remember her fondly from the 60s!
Speaking at a conference is cool enough -- but speaking at a conference in Australia -- how cool is that!

I used to love reading Beverly Cleary's books when I was younger! I guess I'm going to go read right now...I've been inspired.
