45,000 books

We've hit 45,000 books—well more than 5,000/day now. This is remarkable in that "Add Books" was broken for an hour. It's fixed now, and I'm moving on to pressing bugs and expansions.

Wow. That's some serious bookage. This makes me so happy that this is very successful.

I'm really sorry to bug you, but it seems to be acting up similarly to the last mention.

Eek! I'm only a quarter of the way through my shelving, here! (;

That was weird. It is adding the books, but it's complaining about it.

Brilliant idea. Where's it going? What's the plan? Can I help?

Effulgent: You were the first paid user. I think I owe you some sort of trophy.

Re: User's page. Fixed. Apparently parsing a hundred-thousand tags can be memory-intensive. Who would've thunk it?

Re: Entering problems. At peak times LC gets stingy with connections. Once I switch servers and technologies later this week this should no longer happen. Meanwhile I'll make it fail in a more friendly way...

50,000? And here I've only about 15% of my collection at home and available to enter. Glad to see you hitting all of these milestones!

Very exciting.

I was wondering what it meant when the shared book icon included a little yellow conversation blurb...does it just mean that the book is shared by many?
